Your new role
As a
Web Designer – UX/UI Specialist

, you will act as the software designer for customer engagement platforms, covering web and mobile applications, from business needs analysis to the delivery of design proposals and assets, in close collaboration with end users, product managers and software engineers.

The position requires strong expertise in Digital Product, UX and UI Design, including the creation, evolution and governance of a scalable, accessible Digital Design System and UI component library.

The role also involves advising on design principles, aligning design with product strategy, and regularly presenting and discussing solutions with business stakeholders and engineering teams.

Your responsabilities will be to:

Lead the design process of web and mobile applications (iOS and Android), translating ideas into scenarios, sketches, flows, and interactive prototypes.

Define the platform user experience, GUI and visual design, ensuring user friendly adoption.

Collaborate with product managers/owners and software engineers to align design decisions with business priorities and technical cost-efficient feasibility.

Conduct user research and realize user experiences to validate design concepts and optimize solutions.

Create, maintain and evolve design systems, UI patterns, and component libraries across products to ensure consistency, reusability and quality.

Support customer engagement software development teams by providing actionable technical design documentation.

Work closely with product and development teams during software implementation to ensure the final product build matches the approved design and visual brand standards.

What you will need to succeed
Minimum of five years of experience in web design, with solid knowledge of UI/UX.
Strong experience in software design principles, user interfaces, and user experience best practices.

Experience in user interface design, including designing and prototyping UI mock-ups and components for web platforms and digital assets.

Experience creating interactive prototypes in Figma to validate design.
Ability to leverage UX principles to optimize user experience.
Strong understanding of web design integration into code.
Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Demonstrated ability to organize and structure digital web content within a Design System architecture.

Comfortable working in an agile development environment, including participation in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.

Collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with product and development teams.
Experience in transportation management, supply chain management or logistics environments is valued.
Experience with React is a plus but not required.
User experience certifications or similar qualifications are a plus.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Azure DevOps.
Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones is a plus.
Fluent in English, with strong communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions.
