You will play a vital role in resolving complex incidents, driving operational improvements, and collaborating across teams to deliver seamless solutions that support global operations. Your main responsibilities:Provide advanced support for production applications, including incident investigation, resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Lead high-priority incidents end-to-end and coordinate with development, infrastructure, and product teams.
- Improve and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation (runbooks, SOPs).
- Lead or contribute to operational and enhancement projects (e.g., upgrades, automation, new app rollouts).
- Mentor junior support engineers and promote best practices within the team.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support for critical applications, including shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM and/or extending until 7:00 PM.
- Ensure seamless handovers and effective communication of ongoing issues across shifts.
- You're ideal for this role if you have:At least 6 years of experience in supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS environments.
- Hands-on experience with app servers like HAProxy, Apache, IIS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools including Zabbix and Grafana.
- Experience with middleware solutions like Axway API Gateway.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and Jira.
- Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps tools including Confluence, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, XLDeploy, XLRelease, and BitBucket.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Automation expertise using Terraform and OpenShift.
- It is a strong plus if you have:Certifications or experience in cloud architecture or automation tools.
- Additional scripting or programming skills.
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments.
- Language Required for the role:Fluent command of English (minimum B2 level).
