As a Senior Application Support Engineer – Financial Systems, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial industry, providing technical support for the Summit platform. Your role is critical in ensuring seamless system operations, supporting both back-office and front-office financial applications, and aiding the technical teams through detailed log and flow analysis. Your main responsibilities:Provide functional and technical support for the Summit platform, including control-m and Linux environments.

• Collaborate with business users to resolve issues, troubleshoot system flows, and ensure system stability.
• Perform log and flow analysis to identify root causes and implement timely solutions.
• Assist the functional team with technical research and analysis, including SQL queries and system diagnostics.
• Maintain and improve L1 and L2 support processes to deliver high-quality service.
• Document incidents and solutions, ensuring knowledge sharing for continuous improvement.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and configurations as needed.

You're ideal for this role if you have:At least 6 years of experience in a technical support role within financial systems.

• Strong proficiency in SQL (1+ year experience).
• Experience supporting financial back-office or front-office applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of Summit, control-m, Linux, and MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with up to 3 remote days per week.
• It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)Background in financial markets or trading environments.
• Additional certifications related to system support or financial technologies.
• Language Required for the role:Fluent English command is essential.
